Neil is an excellent estate agent. He does exactly what he says he will do from the beginning. The process was very straightforward and to the time scale first quoted. Neil has excellent communication skills and I would highly recommend his services. As my son summed it up - High St Estate Agents have one buyer and lots of houses but Neil has one house with lots of buyers and therefore gives the property the time and patience needed to ensure a successful sale.

Neil helped me to sell a buy to let property in Olney. I found him to be professional, courteous and engaging, with a commercial and pragmatic approach. He not only found me a buyer but he gave sound advice on preparing the house for sale before taking it to market, and was committed to seeing the sale through, driving the process and doing a much needed job of keeping the various solicitors on their toes. His approach is refreshing, and his communication was excellent throughout. He introduced me to the benefits of the voice memo! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I can confidently and whole-heartedly say that I would not have been able to sell my property if it wasn’t for Neil! As well as organising high quality photos and a bespoke video walk-through of the property, he organised and attended viewings and accommodated all those who wanted to view the property, whether that be over weekends or in the evenings. Additionally, he also researched the local area of your property to pre-empt any questions from potential buyers and, above all, he only had your best interests when it came to negotiating the sale of your property to ensure the best offer could be obtained. No query was too big or too small for Neil to handle and once an offer had been accepted, there was constant liaison with myself, the buyers and all relevant parties involved to ensure all timelines were met for exchange and completion which was very reassuring in what is normally a highly stressful experience. If you want to sell your property very very quickly and for the maximum price. Neil is the only person to go to. After trying two conventional agents who failed totally he sold my house for a very fair price and remarkably quickly. He is professional, friendly and in particular goes way above & beyond in his services including arriving an hour before viewings to ensure the house was immaculate. I’ve never ever experienced that level of both professionalism and determination. There was also a particularly tricky situation related to my sale and he showed exceptional tenacity to resolve it and ensure the sale chain held together. His unique marketing approach is very refreshing and effective and his negotiation skills are excellent.

Neil Mercer is that person. From the very start, he is honest, knowledgeable, practical, and proactive. You know you are in safe hands...and can completely trust his guidance. His marketing methods work! We had 24 viewings in one day, followed up by multiple offers! He got us way more than we thought we'd get for our property and was our rock through the whole process. He's a great business man, with a heart of gold. A rare thing. We can't recommend him enough.

What can I say about Neil? To say he went above and beyond more than the "high street" estate agent is an understatement. When appointing someone to handle the sale of your property everyone wants things to run smoothly... this was not the case for my chain (of 2!) but Neil was definitely the glue that held everything together. Would I recommend Neil? Absolutely!! Owning a local removal business, I hear about horrendous challenges that our customers face through inefficient agents, but I can honestly say that, after using Neil to sell two of my properties, he would be my first point of call. He is personable, approachable and there for you outside the normal 9 - 5pm.

Neil is excellent at what he does, selling houses. Sold ours in 11 days to solid purchasers. Managed the whole process, going above and beyond what the high street agent does. Kept us informed throughout the sale, took away all the stress that you normally get from selling your property. He’s a genuine honest guy and does exactly what he says he will. There are estate agents and then there’s Neil, in a league of his own. If you’re looking for someone who is leading the field and knows what he’s doing - he’s your guy. Having worked with a few other agents throughout the years, I have never came across someone so knowledgable and dedicated. He is very realistic, pragmatic and definitely hands-on. Trust his advice and follow it whether you are the seller or the buyer, he does have your best interests at heart and results that speak for themselves. Speaking of facts, I have instructed him for a sale of a flat and it sold within days of going live for more than what I anticipated. The videography and pictures were superb quality (I look at them once in a while even now) and were enough to sell without a viewing. Neil negotiated and got the best deal throughout the chain for me, which would not have been possible without him. Once Demi got involved, she was also extremely helpful and supportive throughout. In summary, Neil is a powerhouse of an agent. You will be looked after better than you ever have been and for what is usually quite a stressful life event, he will make it as smooth as possible.

We invited Neil over for a chat as he seemed to have a good insight into local and national property markets. He definitely did and the chain of events which followed with the marketing strategy and subsequent quick sale of our property was professional, efficient and highly satisfactory. The multiple viewings and subsequent offers happened over a couple of days while we were away and Neil and his team were involved all the way through to make things happen without any of the usual delays. They even work within the chain to help if needed, which is way beyond the usual work of other Estate Agents. He’s also a really nice chap who is fun to work with!
